Put your focus on healthy habits and not on your actual weight. It can sound contradictory, but just focusing on the health to start with can keep your thoughts positive. If you do not see the results you want, you may be tempted to eat foods you do not need. Some diet plans do not work because they expect too much from you. It is always better to change things gradually to be successful at losing weight the healthy way. If you are eating out, consider splitting your meal. Restaurant portions are just huge.
